Privacy and Custodianship Charter

Privacy & Custodianship Charter

This Charter is the public declaration and binding pledge of the Viremoore Foundation.

All discussions, artefacts, records, and transmissions entrusted to the Foundation are held in perpetuity with discretion, dignity, and reverence. Privacy is not a preference. It is a condition of custodianship.

I. Absolute Privacy

All materials entrusted to the Foundation remain strictly private. No record, artefact, conversation, or association is disclosed, reproduced, published, or referenced without the explicit and prior consent of the entrusted family or institution.

Privacy is irrevocable.

II. Custodianship, Not Publication

The Legacy Register, the Codex of Intangible Luxury, and all related works are not public media, commercial publications, or promotional instruments.

They exist solely as private cultural archives, preserved for continuity, remembrance, and inheritance. Their purpose is guardianship—not visibility.

III. Authority & Control

Each family or institution retains full authority over the form, content, and scope of what is entrusted.

Nothing is recorded, preserved, or retained without review, consent, and alignment. Authority remains with the origin; custodianship resides with the Foundation.

IV. Dignity, Accuracy & Integrity

Every legacy is safeguarded with exacting care.
The Foundation commits to accuracy, restraint, and fidelity—ensuring that each record reflects the truth, dignity, and essence of what is entrusted, without distortion or embellishment.

V. Digital Preservation & Security

Digital custodianship follows the ISO 14721 (OAIS) archival model.
All digital materials are encrypted, securely stored, and access-restricted to authorised custodial personnel only.

Preservation is designed for longevity, integrity, and resistance to decay, exposure, or misuse.

VI. Continuity of Remembrance

The Legacy Register exists as a private ledger of trust—a living testament to those who chose to safeguard their heritage through conscious guardianship.

Its purpose is continuity, not recognition. Remembrance, not display.

Declaration

This Charter binds the Viremoore Foundation and its Custodian in perpetuity.

It is publicly declared and privately upheld as an enduring pledge of privacy, reverence, and cultural responsibility across generations.
